Purchase Group, in order to ensure timely execution of the projects and proper utilization of funds, purchases goods, works and services for Govt. Projects/Schemes, Service Recipients (acting as a Pure Agent) as well as for NDDB’s own requirements from the manufacturer/agencies with high integrity and competence following the highest level of business ethics and transparency, at most competitive price.
The Group also maintains a dedicated fleet of Rail Milk Tankers (RMTs) and allot these RMTs to various Federations/Unions to facilitate the transportation of milk from surplus to deficit areas.

- Procurement of required goods and services of prescribed specification from reliable sources ensuring the economic and legal interests of the organization are safeguarded at all times.
- Ensure effective and timely purchase of goods and services at the most competitive prices, maximizing value for money.
- Maintain the highest level of integrity, transparency, accountability and ethics in the entire procurement process.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations governing public procurement.

- Establishment of Dairy Plant, Cattle Feed Plant, Bio-Gas Plant, Vaccine Manufacturing Plant, BioSecurity Lab, Semen Station etc. for various Service Recipients
- Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre of Government of Gujarat
